Wilburn Named Collaborative Chair Emeritus

The Health Improvement Collaborative of Greater Cincinnati has named has named L. Thomas Wilburn, Jr. as its Chair Emeritus. Wilburn, currently director of Bethesda Services at TriHealth, has been chair of the Collaborative’s Board of Trustees since the organization’s inception in 1992. He will retire from this post at the end of the year.

Wilburn was recognized as Chair Emeritus at the Collaborative’s fourth annual Celebration of Collaborative Leadership dinner on Thursday, November 2 at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati downtown.

Wilburn played an instrumental part in helping to lay the foundation for the Collaborative. In the 1990s – as president and CEO of Bethesda Hospital, and then president and CEO of TriHealth – Wilburn offered his talents as an organizational planner and strategic thinker to help formalize the organization.

Wilburn resides with his wife, Sanda, in Blue Ash.
